Inspired by our memories, made by our moments.
Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Waterfront. A new destination offering residential, retail, leisure, hospitality and business space at the heart of historic Muttrah.
One of the sultanate of Oman’s flagship development projects, Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Waterfront is set to transform Muscat’s existing industrial port into a major international waterfront destination.
Oman’s original gateway to the world, the port community of Muttrah has a long and storied history. Home to traders, fishermen and artisans, for centuries it was a vibrant, thriving community – a place to which you could truly belong.
With the development of Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Waterfront, Muttrah is being reimagined for the 21st century – and is ready to be born anew.
Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Waterfront will be one of Muscat’s most desirable addresses. Low-rise apartment buildings housing high-quality one and two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom penthouses will be sited on the central quay to provide exceptional sea views.
All of the apartments will be designed and constructed to the highest possible standards. Care will be taken to ensure that they reflect the cultural and environmental sensitivities of their historic setting, with no apartment building exceeding four stories in height.
Residential sales are scheduled to commence in late 2017.
Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Waterfront will provide a vibrant leisure destination for Muscat residents and tourists alike. At its centre, a major mall will showcase leading international brands, alongside a four star hotel, green spaces and children’s play areas and and a variety of entertainment options, including multiplex and outdoor cinemas, a Children’s Village, and Souq Al Mina – a 3,300 square metre celebration of local creativity and craftsmanship housed in an original boat shed.
A waterfront promenade – air conditioned for comfort in the warmer summer months — will be lined with independent stores and boutiques, cafes and restaurants. While a premium 150-berth marina, catering to vessels of up to and over 50 metres, will be home to the Royal Yacht Club of Oman, which will operate a private club offering fine dining and land facilities to its members and guests.
As well being as a prime tourism hub and residential community, Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Waterfront will offer high quality commercial space, with two premium office towers delivered as part of the the development’s first phase.
Office accommodation in each of these towers benefit from flexible layout and extensive parking facilities, with easy access to multiple dining and entertainment options.
Further commercial offerings will be included in later development phases, and promise to make Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Waterfront a thriving business hub.
Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Waterfront will provide visitors with a variety of hotel and hospitality options designed to accommodate a range of personal tastes and budgets.
A 180 room 5 star hotel will occupy a prime location on the water’s edge, commanding stunning views of Muttrah Corniche, the historic fort and the city beyond.
Two four star hotels, together offering almost 300 rooms, will provide stylish and comfortable accommodation along with convenient access to the mall, Corniche, promenade and bay.
And a 150 room, 3 star hotel will provide high quality, economical accommodation in a superb setting.
